The Community
Creating an intergenerational dialogue through art
Community Portrait Project participants will take part in a series of workshops which will include music, visual arts, creative writing and more. Participants will share their skills with the group and take on leadership roles in the development of art-based programming which we will then share with the community. Participants will also help develop an exhibition entitled “A Community Portrait” which will be displayed at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia-Yarmouth Branch. Program Sponsors
Funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program, we are excited to offer this program free of charge.
